Job DescriptionInfosys is seeking a Data Analyst. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Data Analysis with Financial risk domain.
• Strong data mapping and data analysis skills
• Experience with data visualization tools and dashboards
• Ability to query data independently
• Gather business requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business users, developers and managers.
• Develop use cases, functional specifications, and test cases.
• Ensure test coverage and complete documentation for each software release.
• Atleast 2 years of experience, either in management consulting or directly at Banks, other Financial Services firms, and FinTechs, in a problem solving/ solution development role in the Banking, Risk and Finance domains.
• Hands-on experience working on banking products data.
• Can be able to define data lineage from source systems to downstream system, Data profiling of the data sets
• Review and finalize DQ rules, assist in implementation of DQ rules with application teams and validation of results.
• Review of new Data demands from downstream.
• Experience with database, SQL querying and analysis, MongoDB, excel & PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience in any tool for issue tracking and project management; preferably Jira.
• Strong Analytical and Communication skills along with Planning and Co-ordination skills
• Should have worked to gather detailed, specific, business requirements and functional specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
