Location: Montreal (Office attendance from Day 1 – Hybrid Mode 3x per week)
12 Months Contract PositionYears of experience : 2 to 5 YearsJob Description:The Candidate will be responsible to create, assemble and provide quality assurance to produce the Technology Governance Committee meeting materials, Technology’s Vendor Management meeting materials, and legal entity meeting materials. In addition, this function collaborates with others to monitor vendor compliance metrics and put in place corrective actions and other ad hoc activities supporting these functions. The candidate will be responsible for project managing these activities and creating set-back schedules to communicate activities to our various stakeholders. The data management and monitoring aspects of the role will utilize our internal reporting suite as well as our Project and Portfolio Management tool, PPMPrime. Technology’s senior management relies on these functions to demonstrate good overall management to our regulators and other supervisory entities.Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and update / manage long term plans as well as agendas to support the above governance meetings, in collaboration with team management.
- Communicate milestones to stakeholders and hold stakeholders accountable to deadlines.
- Partner with stakeholders in Finance, HR, Tech Risk etc to source data and/or information to assemble and create the relevant meeting materials.
- Conduct a Q/A process for the meeting materials.
- Constantly identify process or outcome problems to help improve these services.
- Manage the documentation and minutes taking for these meetings so that our supervisors can investigate when needed as well as talking points for senior technology management.
- Monitor data and reporting for compliance issues & understand our vendor control framework to understand what is a compliance issue.
Role Requirements:
- 2- 5 year experience in a similar role.
- Ability to analyze results and synthesize outcomes for others and understand your audience.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to hold others accountable and escalate.
- Ability to visualize and create forward looking plans.
- Proficient at MS Office, especially powerpoint.
- Excellent communication skills.
