Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Teller in the banking industry, based in Framingham, Massachusetts. As a Teller, you will play a crucial role in providing financial services to our customers, which includes cash handling, assisting customers, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers upon arrival, providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately handle cash transactions including deposits and withdrawals.
• Assist in maintaining cash drawers, ensuring they are correctly tallied at the end of each day.
• Be responsible for accurately counting and tallying checks.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any potential issues.
• Provide support to the Teller team by undertaking other similar tasks as assigned.
• Ensure the reliability and dependability of our banking services.
• Use strong math skills for precise cash handling.
• Maintain strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed. Requirements • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service role within the banking industry is preferred
• Proven ability to effectively assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Demonstrated experience in handling cash and maintaining accurate cash drawers
• Strong numerical skills for handling cash activity accurately
• Ability to identify and report suspicious transactions as per banking regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in using banking software and other related computer applications
• Must be able to adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
