Comprised of a dedicated team of engineers and testers, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional software for our clients.As a Manual Test Engineer, you’ll engage with our entire web stack, which means a genuine passion for quality development is paramount. Comfort in liaising closely with both Technical and non-technical team members is crucial, as we highly value collaborative efforts to achieve optimal outcomes. You’ll play a significant role in enhancing our test coverage, accelerating release velocity, and fortifying overall production health. This role also offers an opportunity to refine our testing processes through collaboration with other talented testers. Working with our QA team, you’ll continuously refine our QA technology stack and workflow, becoming proficient in implementing testing frameworks and managing testing platforms. If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesCollaborate in an Agile team to test and deliver high-quality products on scheduleDetermine and execute necessary testing, both functional and non-functional, based on release requirementsDesign and execute test scenarios, plans, and regression packs for web applicationsEfficiently identify, report, and prioritize bugs and issues, ensuring clear communication within the teamDevelop, refine, and manage test plans and scripts to match project schedules preciselyProactively identify and address risks to release schedules, reporting software defects promptlyMaintain the highest quality standards in product development, actively enhancing Adthena’s engineering and testing methodologiesPromote a culture of empathy and support among team members and towards our customersRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a STEM field, ISTQB certification or equivalent professional experienceExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProficient in SQL/NoSQL with a solid background in handling data-driven and data visualizations projectsIn-depth STLC knowledge with a passion for mastering manual testing methods and toolsAnalytical, self-driven and adaptable, with the capability to work autonomously and manage tasks efficientlyDesired QualificationsCommercial experience testing complex web applications in Scrum teamsExpertise in testing tools (Jira, TestRail), SQL, API testing (Postman)Skills in automated testing with Robot FrameworkProficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity) and version control (GitHub, Bitbucket)Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Amazon S3 and cloud deployment testing methods is an advantageProficient in Agile quality standards and processes, with a strong analytical mindset for solving complex problemsTechnologies we use at AdthenaLanguages: Java, Scala, JavaScript (React, Backbone), SQL, shell scripting and PythonFrameworks: DropWizard, React, Akka, Play Framework (Scala) and Robot FrameworkStorage: PostgreSQL, AWS(S3), Redshift, Redis, MongoDB, CassandraTechnologies: RabbitMQ, Quartz scheduling, Docker and Kubernetes, MavenCI/CD: TeamCity, JenkinsSource Control: GitHubOther Tools: IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Grafana, Elastic, SentryWhy join us?Work on a multi-award-winning product in a position where you are being valued and feel you can make your markRemote FriendlyTrust-based annual leaveFlexible working environmentReceive stock options.
