Location: Based in the UK, working remotely, but with capacity to travel for in person meetings and workshops.
Remuneration: £19,468.80 pro rata salary (£32,448 full time) Including a 3% statutory pension contribution and 16.8 days pro rata holiday allowance (28 days full time).

The Agroecology Learning Collective (TALC) is a UK-based network committed to transforming land-based education by strengthening the skills, knowledge and capacity needed for a regenerative, climate-resilient future. TALC brings together agroecological trainers, learning centres, demonstration farms, mentors, advisors and practitioners to collaborate, share expertise and build coherent pathways into agroecological landwork. TALC aims to:
TALC is guided by a Steering Committee composed of organisations and individuals with deep expertise in agroecology, education and land-based practice. Operating as a remote network with activities across the UK, TALC is building a collaborative, connected and forward-looking infrastructure for agroecological learning.
TALC has been awarded grant funding from Esmee Fairbairn to develop the initiative. The Landworkers’ Alliance is playing the role of fiscal host for the grant period, which includes hosting employment for TALC staff.
The postholder will be required to work autonomously, with regular and committed support from other TALC staff and Steering Committee members.
The team will collaboratively design, deliver and review work plans, establish project strategies and maintain structures for communication and mutual support. TALC operates without a central office; staff work remotely, with travel required for meetings, visits and events. Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
A regular working pattern is required, though some flexibility can be offered. An additional paid week of leave is provided around late December.

The coordinator will play a central role in developing the initiative, fostering participation and building the collective while supporting the organisation’s growth and impact. They will lead on developing TALC against its objectives including developing the website to become a central knowledge hub for trainers, centres of learning and learners; Building stakeholder participation, facilitating knowledge sharing and CPD; stimulating the development of new courses and events to help fill gaps.
The postholder will also be responsible for overseeing operational delivery, managing the budget and timeline and leading on monitoring and evaluation.
This role combines operational input and strategic contribution to ensure TALC develops in-line with its objectives.
