About School of Education, Environment & Development (SEED)The School of Education, Environment & Development is a School dedicated to the collaboration between five interrelated specialisms, each of which is pivotal to developing our combined, interdisciplinary presence, Education, Architecture, Geography, Global Development, and Planning & Environment. Find out more:The RoleThis role forms part of the School Teaching, Learning and Student Experience team in the School of Education, Environment & Development and will assist the Student Support and Wellbeing team to deliver excellent service provision placing the student experience at the heart of what we do with support for a single Professional Services (PS) team working flexibly across organisational boundaries. This role is 0.5 FTE.The ideal candidate will be able to manage and lead the administrative requirements of completing student compliance for safeguarding procedures (DBS checks) within an Educational placement setting for a range of Education programmes and units.The ideal candidate will be able to manage their time well, work independently whilst also managing several stakeholders and student enquiries. The successful candidate will have an analytical mindset and the skills, experience, and knowledge to deliver continuous improvement. They should, always, ensure they are operating within University, Faculty and School policies, guidance, and regulations.As well as working within SEED TLSE, the role will require inter-departmental working with academic and professional services colleagues across the Faculty and wider University, delivering a high quality, student focused service and promoting a single team culture.Please see the link below for the Further Particulars document which contains the person specification and other details of this role. This is a TLSE Student Support & Wellbeing Co-ordinator: Placement Compliance (Education) (0.5 FTE) assignment within the wider teaching and learning officers particulars.The TeamStudent Support & Wellbeing are a highly skilled and motivated team, responsible for the processes and procedures associated with wellbeing, pastoral and disability support and safeguarding of students within the School. They work collaboratively and holistically to ensure students get the very best experience and support during their studies.What can you expect in return
