We are looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist for Nespresso based at our Montreal location reporting into the Trade Marketing Manager. This person will play an active role within the Trade Marketing team to implement and lead key retail activities related to local plan & global trade marketing objectives to ultimately drive & increase conversion of new member acquisition.A day in the life:

  • Reconcile and efficiently lead a budget of $2-4M
  • Lead in-store national campaigns, promotional activities, product launches, permanent communication & displays
  • Drive point of sales development to increase brand visibility, awareness, consideration, and conversion
  • Analyze and identify merchandising improvements and develop new and innovative ideas
  • Build creative briefs for agencies and managing the design phase of projects from design approval to execution
  • Perform trade visits in key markets to assess initiatives
  • Plan, organize, and implement diverse trade events from concept development to post-event analysis

Role Requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French is required for this position. The role involves frequent and complex collaboration with collaborators across the Canadian market and/or internationally. These interactions necessitate a high level of proficiency in English to effectively perform the tasks associated with the job.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
  • Proven experience (4-5 years) in a corporate environment with a marketing and sales background or similar position.
  • Presentation and negotiating skills
  • Strong analytical and budget management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of market and channel specifics
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge in printing and/or production
