NIB is seeking a
TRAINEE
to join the Sustainability and Mandate unit (SUM) in Helsinki during the summer period on a fixed-term contract. The position is full time and optimally held from mid-June till August. You will also provide general support to the Lending department.
The SUM team is responsible for the assessment of projects financed by the Bank for their alignment with both NIB’s mandates – productivity gains and environmental benefits – and for carrying out client level ESG analysis across sectors. We follow and shape the development of sustainable finance markets working in collaboration with other IFIs and sustainable finance platforms in setting standards and guidelines.
NIB has committed to be a Net-Zero bank by 2050 and you will support the Bank’s climate project in various data related activities to implement the recommendations of the Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and implementing NIB’s climate strategy.
