Job DescriptionTrainee Estimator (Fire and Security Industry)Position: Trainee EstimatorLocation: Paisley OfficeRole & Responsibilities As a Trainee Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Surveyors: Collaborate with experienced surveyors to analyze project requirements, assess costs, and prepare accurate estimates.
• Contracts Management Support: Work closely with our Contracts Management team to ensure smooth project execution. Understand contract terms and obligations.
• Supply Chain Management: Participate in our Supply Chain Management Initiative. Develop relationships with subcontractors to enhance project efficiency.
• Additional Duties: Be flexible and willing to take on other tasks as needed to support project success.

Candidate Profile my client are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Strong Academic Background: A focus on mathematics is essential. Whether you’re a recent school leaver or currently pursuing a relevant degree, your analytical skills are crucial.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Act proactively and independently to solve challenges. Initiative is highly valued.
• IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Self-Motivation: Be driven and proactive in your approach to work.
