Trainee in ETIS – The Community for Telecom Professionals in Europe

Founded in 1991, ETIS is a non-profit organization which brings together the major telecommunications providers in Europe to share knowledge in a trusted environment. Our mission is to provide our community with the highly trusted collaboration platform through facilitating in-person meetings, webinars, and by managing an online community. 

Duration of the position:

A fixed 6-month contract (“contrat d’immersion professionnelle – CIP”), with a start date in October 2024.

Description of the position:

Full-time Traineeship position in the ETIS Central Office in Brussels, Belgium. The Trainee would support the work of the 4-persons Team by performing a selection of tasks:

• Communication with members on ETIS working group mailing lists
• Management of the online community platform “My ETIS”, onboarding members and performing CRM updates
• LinkedIn research for leads among telecom operator experts in Europe
• Organisation of both virtual and physical events (small and large conferences)
• Business travel to conferences ETIS organises
• Design work based on need – in tools such as Canva.

Desired profile:

• University graduate (BA minimum) / young professional from an EU or EEA country
• Individual interested in the work of the telecom industry in Europe
• Very good communication skills, both in person and written ones
• Detail-oriented and proactive; efficient in meeting deadlines and achieving targets
• Good knowledge of MS Office 365 package
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Event organising skills, both virtual events and conferences, are a plus

You will be offered a professional agreement (“contrat d’immersion professionnelle – CIP”) for max 6 months. You must not have already completed a 12 Month CIP or have been in full time professional employment yet. Working hours are from 09:00 until 17:00 Monday to Friday with a 30-min break for lunch. The trainee will be entitled to 6 days holiday plus national bank holidays.
