The training function ensures that operators are qualified to be building our product at a high quality in alignment with our manufacturing instructions.Nationality RequirementsCandidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.Job DescriptionThe Training Coordinator is responsible for identifying training needs, assessing gaps to current state and creating plans to close any gaps in alignment with business requirements.The Training coordinator works with the team leads in Sonar and Sonobuoy facilities to ensure that training and assessments are planned and executed as per Operational and Quality requirements, delivering both as required.Oversee the delivery of employee training plans.Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness for the purposes of quality processes (i.e., completion of training assessments by the Training Assessors, within QA).Maintain the Training Matrix in the IFS ERP system.Schedule and monitor employee job assessments in alignment with the training matrix.Schedule and facilitate (when necessary) mandatory training, as per Group and/or local site requirements.Develop and maintain WorkCentre Training Checklists.Complete and facilitate training videos – update as required.Coordinate the Training Request and Authorization processes.Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers.Schedule and support on-site and off-site training by external suppliers.Facilitate and deliver learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching.Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment, both internal (onsite) and externally when required offsite.Manage training budget.Keep up to date on training design and methodology best practices.Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.Develop, institute and maintain onboarding training process for new hires and transfersDiverse & Inclusive EmployerUltra Maritime is an equal opportunities employer that values diversity, inclusion, equity and equality.
