Previous applicants need not apply.We are seeking to recruit to the post of Training Director for the Africa-India-Oxford Schmidt AI in Science Faculty Fellowship Programme.As Training Director, you will use your research expertise in AI/Machine Learning (ML) working closely with the Academic Director, the Africa Oxford Centre, and the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development, to develop and deliver the training programme for this exciting new programme which builds on Oxford’s existing Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme. The new programme spans the interdisciplinary research of the departments within the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division at Oxford.The Programme will recruit outstanding scientists (Fellows) from under-resourced settings in Africa and India and will build an inclusive community of researchers with excellent understanding of AI/ML techniques and their application to scientific research.
