As part of our team, you’ll help us provide both corporate and financial buyers with peace of mind by analysing and validating all the financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions being made.Our team specializes in the Financial Services sector, performing due diligence and other M&A activities on companies across the Insurance, Banking & Capital Markets, Asset & Wealth Management and Fintech subsectors. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to help our clients through the different stages of the M&A process.Meaningful work you’ll be part ofAs a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Participate in meetings with top-level management in a wide range of businesses within Financial Services to obtain critical information for due diligenceDevelop a comprehensive understanding of targeted companies (e.g., key business drivers, market trends)Undertake in depth financial analysis of client and target financial data to identify deal issues and business value driversPrepare key transaction analyses such as Quality of Earnings, normalized net working capital and analysis of debt and debt-like items. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an assetStrong communication, presentation and report writing skillsProven engagement team management and leadership skills; andThis role doesn’t support completion of the Canadian CPA designationPwC BC Region Pay Range InformationThe salary range* for this position is $58,400 – $97,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.*Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region. Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location.
