The Role:

 

The UK & EU Donor Partnerships Advisor will support the UK Partnerships Team to strengthen funding engagement with the UK Government and the EU with a focus on compliance. They will also specialise in securing funding from the European Union for Oxfam’s development programmes.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • Experience, or demonstrated understanding, of working with institutional donors such as the UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, and the European Union.
  • Significant experience of analysing and / or interpreting contract terms and conditions, as well as donor guidelines, on various functional areas (eg. procurement, finance, HR etc) for high risk and high value donor contracts
  • Experience in designing and delivering training to culturally and geographically diverse audiences. 
  • Experience of capacity building sharing and organisational development in relation to donor compliance , proposal development or related field
  • Ability to adapt and work within a multicultural, multilingual, and   multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to work effectively under your own initiative and within a team to achieve results.
