With an urban planning and engagement focus, you will join a tight-knit group of passionate planners, urban designers and landscape architects to lead and support projects for public and private-sector clients. • Participate in a broad range of projects: from site specific feasibility studies to community policy initiatives, TOD projects, master plans, and development approvals
• Lead and support stakeholder engagement for a wide variety of placemaking projects
• Define outreach strategies and draft engagement / communication plans
• Plan, manage, and facilitate physical and online engagement processes
• Contribute to the growth and development of our Indigenous Engagement practice
• Network and build relationships with current and prospective clients and other strategic contacts
• Represent our practice/projects at conferences or other events

QualificationsQualifications and Experience:

• 3-10 years of experience in planning, urban design, or applied professions
• Eligible for Registered Professional Planner (RPP) designation
• An accredited degree in Urban Planning; a master’s degree is an asset
• IAP2 certification is an asset
• Familiarity with provincial planning legislation and the development approval process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000.
