Join our team of experts and be part of shaping the future of our cities.Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Urban Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for urban development, a strong understanding of planning principles, and the ability to work collaboratively on diverse projects. This role involves working closely with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders to develop and implement planning solutions that meet the needs of growing communities.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis to inform urban planning projects, including land use studies, demographic analysis, and environmental assessments.
• Develop and review zoning bylaws, official plans, and development proposals.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and planning documents for clients, municipalities, and public meetings.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to create comprehensive planning solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders, including community members, government officials, and developers, to gather input and provide planning recommendations.
• Assist in the design and implementation of urban development projects, including site planning, transportation planning, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Stay current with trends, regulations, and best practices in urban planning and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.
• Professional Planner (RPP) designation or eligibility preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in urban planning, land use planning, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of planning principles, zoning regulations, and land development processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Proficient in GIS, AutoCAD, and other relevant planning software.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex planning concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with occasional travel to project sites and meetings.
• Work may involve attending public meetings or workshops outside of regular business hours.
