Enjoy a high standard of living with low housing costs and short commutes when you live and work as a urologist in Saskatchewan, Canada.Job DescriptionThe Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a team-orientated and highly skilled Urologist to join its Department of Surgery, Division of Urology in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Candidates with experience or training in Reconstructive Urology or in Men’s Health will be given preference.Guaranteed weekly OR access and a generous amount of procedural time in the ambulatory care and endoscopy units will be available to the successful candidate upon arrival. The program is complimented with a high-quality Anesthesiology program and a day surgery unit which has extended hours for patient recovery. The arriving specialist would share in a minimum of a 1 in 5 call rotation.The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate experience and training in Urology, appropriate for an academic, tertiary care level, referral centre. The candidate will be expected to show evidence of interpersonal and collaborative skills with initiatives to further advance the clinical and academic productivity of the SHA. Commitment and demonstrated interest in research and surgical education at all levels are expected.Call coverage is a requirement for the position with an on-call retainer. This position is remunerated by contract or fee for services depending on the candidates preference. You can expect earning of C$500,000 and higher.Physicians have the opportunity to teach undergraduate and post-graduate education at the University of Saskatchewan (USask).
