• Collaborate with in the creation and growth of our desktop, web, and other digital products
• Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests to understand the needs and behaviors of our internal team members and client audience
• Create digital wireframes and interactive prototypes to generate and communicate your design ideas with Product Managers, Developers, and Stakeholders
• Develop information architecture to organize and structure content in ways that enhance our users’ understanding of our applications
• Apply principles of visual design including color theory, typography, layout, and motion to create aesthetically pleasing interfaces
• Create design artifacts including user journeys and personas as needed to help define the design approach
• Help develop and grow our internal design system that provides a common design language across all of MNP’s software products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers and Product Managers, to ensure designs are feasible and align with technical constraints
• Employ design thinking principles to solve complex user experience challenges

Skills and Experience

• Degree in Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software UX/UI design, on multiple projects spanning from initial research to final implementation and post-release iteration
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, demonstrating problem-solving approaches and design thinking
• Advanced skill with Figma required
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to ensure designs are inclusive
• Strong ability to integrate feedback and turn around design iterations quickly
• Demonstrated ability to work at pace within an iterative development team environment
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum
