ScienceDirect is the world’s leading source for scientific, technical, and medical researchers in research institutions worldwide. Your research will ensure the solutions we build have value and meet users’ needs. You will be part of a wider User Experience Research and Design community across Elsevier.ResponsibilitiesPartnering with senior colleagues to plan and conduct research projectsConducting contextual user interviews, concept value testing, usability testing of prototypes and early designsPresenting research in an engaging way to different audiencesContributing to research participant recruitment to ensure feedback can be collected quickly and efficientlySupporting Research Operations work, including maintaining our research repositoryRequirementsDemonstrate a range of qualitative and quantitative research techniques and advanced analysis skillsHave experience in applying a range of research methods, such as contextual interviews and usability testing. Ensure the research methods suit the research question, project stage and timescale.Demonstrate experience working collaboratively with colleagues in a wide range of roles.Be a self-starter, comfortable working in a flexible wayBe proactive in involving product teams and other stakeholders in the research processWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
