Description and RequirementsWork Location: HybridPosition Type: Contract (6 months)Location: Toronto, Ontario, CanadaWe are looking for a Contracts Specialist for our client in Downtown Toronto. This is a 6 month contract role, hybrid.Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters
- Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions
- Assessing current business/commercial and legal risks in existing and/or new contracts
- Review and drafting of contracts, statements of work and related documentation
- Building accountability and standards for supplier performance relative to contracted service levels, KPI’s
- Managing supplier terms in adherence to the contract
- Research and provide competitive supplier landscape information to support Contract Owners, Procurement and negotiations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Contract Specialist or in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
