Main purpose of job: As the Education Programme Officer, you will play a key role in the delivery of UK aid programmes in DRC. You will be the Programme Officer for the British Embassy Kinshasa’s multi-million pound education programme “AXE-Filles” and new programming on reproductive health in humanitarian settings in DRC. You will work closely with the wider programme team and technical advisers to ensure the programmes are delivered well and have an impact. You will build a strong network across the Embassy, including with our Finance, Corporate and Risk & Compliance leads, as well as with our partners in the development sector in DRC. There will be many opportunities for learning and development, including covering programme manager tasks when they are on leave, and taking up a role on one of the Embassy corporate committees. |
