Who we are and why you should apply: The British Embassy in Moscow is part of a world-wide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas and is now looking for a IT Support Officer Assistant (Moscow, Estates and Facilities Management Section).
Main purpose of job: Working within the Estates and Facilities Management Section, this role provides efficient, high quality IT support, to staff at the British Embassy Moscow and Yekaterinburg Consulate. The successful applicant will work alongside the lead ITSO to ensure the smooth running of IT services across the platform. The successful candidate will need to help deliver operational and strategic IT projects in cooperation with London and Hanslope Park based teams and be able to demonstrate flexibility to the operation of a range of tasks. Self-motivation will be a key asset. Some IT knowledge would be an advantage, but the role offers an ideal opportunity for someone interested in this field and who is willing to learn more, the opportunity to develop further skills.

This is a permanent part-time contract, 3 working days, 21 hours per week.
The monthly salary for this position is Rub 56 646 gross, AO level, paid 13 times a year.
The successful candidate will be subject to professional background check and security clearance.
All applicants should have a pre-existing legal status to live and work in Russia. The British Embassy does not facilitate/sponsor visa applications and work permits.
Eligible candidates must hold one of the following passports: United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Staff recruited locally by the British Embassy in Russia is subject to Terms and Conditions of Service according to local Russian employment law.
