Carlton Marshes, on the western fringe of Lowestoft, is a magnificent water-filled landscape
with a fantastic visitor centre. Our work here is transforming the southern borders of the UK’s
most nature-rich areas into a spectacular year-round destination for nature-based recreation,
learning and play – a gateway to the Broads National Park that local people are proud of.

Unparalleled opportunities to get close-up to wildlife, brought to life by a landmark visitor
centre, makes Carlton one of the most accessible nature experiences in East Anglia.

We are looking for a team player with excellent people skills to be our visitor facing welcome
host on a daily basis.

You will work with the team to ensure a welcoming and high quality visitor experience for a
range of audiences. Income generation is another focus and you will be expected to recruit new
members and oversee the retail aspects of the centre. Supporting and co-ordinating our
wonderful team of volunteers with be another of your responsibilities.
