We are looking to add a Finance Director to our team based in Branson, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and guiding the company’s financial strategy and planning. You will be expected to apply your leadership skills and knowledge in governmental accounting to ensure the financial integrity of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of all financial reports.

• Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial data is accurate.

• Supervise the month-end close process and make necessary adjustments.

• Develop and present financial presentations to stakeholders.

• Lead the financial planning process and implement financial plans.

• Develop strategies to optimize financial performance and business opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulations.

• Collaborate with other executives to make informed, strategic decisions.

• Monitor financial trends and forecasts.

• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in a finance role, preferably at a leadership level.

• Expertise in Financial Reporting is required.

• Experience with General Ledger management is necessary.

• Proven ability to create and deliver Financial presentations.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is a must.

• Knowledge of Governmental accounting principles is needed.

• Should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities are required.

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required; an MBA or relevant certification (CPA, CFA, etc.) would be a plus.

• Proficiency in financial software and databases is necessary.

• Must have a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.

• Proven track record in strategic planning and business development would be an advantage.

• Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
