The company produces memorable customer experiences through programs that quickly and effectively generate sales, increase brand awareness, improve ROI, boost customer base, and lower costs to acquire.Under the operating name “Up Fundraising”, the company helps clients build robust and integrated campaigns and develop diversified donor programs.Knewsales is currently looking for a Vice President, Field Operations to oversee all the fundraising, engagement, and communications activities for our company. This role provides leadership, develops strategies, oversees the implementation of policies and procedures, and coordinates the activities within the field to ensure short-term and long-term objectives are met. This location of work for this role will be based at our head office located at 160 Eglinton Ave East, Suite 330, Toronto, Ontario, M4P 3B5. We also offer hybrid work arrangements for employees.This is a permanent full-time position, based on 40 hours per week. Further information respecting the position can be found below.PositionThe VP, Field Operations will oversee all aspects of the company’s field operations including the development of fundraising campaigns, communications, and marketing strategies, and ensuring that the company meets or exceeds its retention and acquisition targets to generate a continuous stream of revenue. Duties for this role will also include, but not be limited to the following:
- Working with Knewsales’s senior management to identify business objectives and expectations, as well as specific fundraising objectives and expectations for the company’s clients;
- Developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns, focusing on the creation of effective written materials such as scripts, pitches, brochures and pamphlets, communications etc. that command attention and inspire and acquire donors;
- Establishing fundraising campaign targets and managing the field operations teams to ensure that retention and acquisition targets are met or exceeded;
- In partnership with the team, developing detailed financial forecasts to help anticipate major changes in funding or trends, utilizing these insights to adapt strategies and maintain the financial health of the organization;
- Providing direction and leadership to field operations employees and team leaders to encourage success with the campaigns that they operate, as well as establishing team and individual goals and metrics;
- Allocating material, human, and financial resources allowing the successful execution of fundraising programs and operation policies;
- Reviewing and providing recommendations to improve written materials for participants of company and client fundraising training programs;
- Creating accessible business processes and standard operating practices, as well as communications and marketing strategies, that improve efficiency and increase engagement;
- Evaluating opportunities to strengthen and optimize the fundraising activities, including advising on the creation of written marketing materials to capture those opportunities;
QualificationsWe are looking for a candidate who meets the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, English or Communications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in scaling businesses and managing operations in the fundraising industry
- Extensive experience developing fundraising campaigns as well as communications and marketing strategies
- Fluent in English, as this role will be required to communicate and conduct work in English.
CompensationWe are offering the following compensation package for this role:
- Salary: $134,000 per year, based on 40 hours of work per week
- Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year.
- Other: Disability, Dental, and Extended Medical Insurance. Eligible for possibility to receive a percentage of gross profits if certain conditions are met, including targets achieved and minimum GM; variable commission-based bonus; as well as incremental raises in accordance with standard company policies.
