POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for a full-time person to join our Sparwood Team, with the opportunity to be successful and grow within our company.PAY AND SALARY INFORMATION

• Pay will be between $20-$25 per hour depending on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shipping and receiving of parts
• Proper documentation of parts locations
• Stocking shelves with parts and consumables
• Monitoring inventory and cleaning parts shelves
• Looking up parts
• Dealing with returns of parts/cores
• Prepare/package parts for shipment
• Filling shop mechanics parts orders and taking to the shop
• Keeping warehouse clean and organized
• Inspecting shop equipment daily prior to use
• Communicating with all departments on availability of requested parts
• Complete pre-trip inspections of vehicles
• Complete log books daily to be compliant with Provincial Transportation Regulations
• Organize pick ups with staff members
• Deliver parts to customers and field tech’s on job sites
• Conduct themselves professionally when dealing with vendors and customers
• Drive in a safe and courteous manner
• Respect, adhere and follow all company policies as well as promote and support the Headwater Safety Program
• Complete all required billing and safety paperwork according to company policies
• Yard maintenance and snow removal
• Performing other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working in Heavy Duty Parts/ Warehouse department is an asset but not a requirement
• Must speak, read and write English
• Good computer skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Comfortable driving in the Elk Valley, mine sites and highway, as well as, in all weather conditions
• Ability to operate equipment (i.e. forklift, Telehandler) with training provided by Headwater
• Strong time management, verbal and written communication skills
• Conscientious and a fast learner
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of projects and tasks
• Sales and customer service abilities
• Reliable, punctual and dependable
• Professional attitude and willing to work in a team environment
• Demonstrate a commitment to our code of conduct, company values and procedures

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Working indoors as well as outside, in all weather conditions
• Monday to Friday
• Routinely required to life items weighing up to 50 lbs

A bit about HeadwaterWe are a Heavy Equipment Sales and Service Company, we refurbish and repair late model CAT/Deere/Hitachi equipment. We are also the authorized dealer for Sany and Rokbak Trucks as well as a repair center for Cummins, Isuzu and Scania. Headwater runs a very clean modern shop with separate Welding, Wash and Paint Bays in Coalhurst AB. With over 25 field service and welding trucks, we pride ourselves on hiring and retaining good people.
