Wellbeing Engagement Assistant

About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Wellbeing Engagement Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality front-facing service to students, university staff and visitors at our Wellbeing Hub and Global Lounge areas. Your main duties will include assisting in the delivery of events and activities, engaging with students and ensuring the smooth running of events. You will also engage proactively with students on a daily basis, offering support and signposting information in a friendly and customer-focused manner. 
Coordination of the distribution of a range of printed marketing materials and assisting students with the self-check-in process will also be part of your responsibilities. In addition, you will manage the spaces assigned to support services and report any issues to the Estates and Digital Services team. You will respond to difficult interactions and situations involving students and others, accurately identifying points of escalation.
About you
With experience in a comparable role, you have previous experience in a customer facing environments, alongside an understanding of confidentiality and data protection regulations. Great customer service skills are key, alongside the motivation to provide the very best experience to our students, staff and visitors. A keen eye for detail is key, alongside great communication skills and the flexibility to take on a wide range of tasks.
