World Vision

  • Provide support to Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion Community of Practice (GEDSI COP) and Country offices on Disability Inclusion (DI) project design and project initiatives
  • Roll out capacity-building sessions with Field Offices, including for
    • Traveling together module
    • Washington group of questions, and
    • Project models on disability inclusion
  • Conduct a mapping of FY 24 Disability Inclusion initiatives and reach within East Asia (EAS) offices, both within grants and Sponsorship ยท
  • Development of the EAS Disability Inclusion Capacity Statement
  • Implement a Disability Inclusion promotion initiative (e.g. Design for Inclusion Challenge) that will promote innovation and mainstreaming of DI in EAS

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. In-depth knowledge in development and inclusion theory and practice, proven working experience in the domain of disability inclusion at the regional and/or international levels.
  2. Post-graduate studies in Disability Inclusion or related degree in international development, education, psychology, sociology or a related area.
  3. With experience in leading the design and implementation of development Disability Inclusive programs. Experience in doing the same in a humanitarian context is desirable.
  4. Strong project management skills, including experience with research and development of programming models.
  5. Excellent writing skills as shown through technical documents, thought pieces, and proposals
  6. Experience leading a task force or community of practice.
  7. Highly developed external engagement and networking skills.
  8. Ability to think broadly and look at the macro, and strategic issues to inform strategy choices and management processes.
  9. Consistently demonstrates high-level influence strategic engagement skills and tactical savvy in the delivery of technical assistance.
  10. Demonstrated proficiency using Excel, Microsoft Suite of products, databases and statistical packages.
  11. Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and versatile in a changing work environment while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency.
