We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher for a wonderful school in Oxford, starting in January 2025.   • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of Year 1/2 students.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to inspire and motivate learners.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback and setting goals for improvement.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and good behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative curriculum plans and share best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and address concerns as needed.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Year 1/2 Teacher Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students, preferably in a Year 1 or 2 class.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction.
  • Enthusiasm for professional development and staying updated on innovative teaching methods.
