We are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher for a lovely school in Croydon, starting in April 2025. This role can be either full-time or part-time, offering flexibility for the right candidate. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.Year 1 Teacher Role

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 1 students.
• Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and support students in their learning journey.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and enthusiasm for learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance curriculum delivery.
• Maintain strong communication with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities as required.

Year 1 Teacher Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in KS1.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and educational best practices.
• A flexible and team-oriented approach to working within a collaborative school environment.
