Job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Year 3 teacher to join our team at a welcoming school in Hertfordshire starting January 2025.The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and enthusiastic team, delivering high-quality education and fostering a love of learning in students as they transition into Key Stage 2.Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Year 3 students.
• Monitor student progress through effective assessment and provide constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive and inspiring learning environment that promotes engagement and positive behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum and share best practices.
• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student development and address any concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Proven ability to engage students and foster a positive classroom environment.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
