3-Year Term, Non-Tenure Track, Lecturer Position in Veterinary Biomedical SciencesApplications are invited from qualified individuals for a 3-year term non-tenure-track lecturer position within the Department of Veterinary Biomedical Sciences of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. The position seeks an applicant to teach within two team-taught core courses VBMS 250 Veterinary Anatomy (9 credit units) and VBMS 260 Form and Function (13 credit units) in the veterinary medicine program (DVM Year 1). Duties will mainly include classroom teaching (lectures) as well as lab and/or tutorial demonstration. Contents covered in these courses include comparative veterinary anatomy and microscopic anatomy (i.e. histology). There is also a possibility of contributing some lectures on physiology of various organ systems and biochemistry. Existing teaching materials could be provided to assist the successful applicant. Teaching of these courses occurs between mid-August to the end of April.The Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM; is the premier centre for veterinary medical education and expertise in western Canada.
