Position: Youth Engagement Project Support Officer

Location: South Downs Centre, Midhurst (blended working)

Salary: £27,980 to £30,220 pro rata (£16,636 to £17,968 for 22 hours per week)

Hours: 22 hours per week

Type of post: Temporary for 12 months

The South Downs is England’s newest National Park and sits in a beautiful part of Southern
England. This exciting project role will engage new school and youth audiences as part a
12-month project.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to deliver nature connection
sessions for young people across the South Downs National Park.

You will be a passionate advocate for learning outdoors and the benefits of connecting with
nature. The role includes direct delivery of engaging learning sessions with schools and youth
groups both within their settings and out in the National Park. You will be experienced in
working with young people from a range of backgrounds and ages and have excellent communication
and interpersonal skills.

The role will include occasional weekend and evening work and is subject to an enhanced DBS
check.
