Tetra Tech International Development (International Development Jobs – Tetra Tech) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a Digital Strategy Intern for Knowledge Management for our Digital Strategy team. The position can be fully remote from a continental US-based location or hybrid within a commutable distance to either one of our office locations in Burlington, VT or Arlington, VA.

Position Description: The Intern will participate in multiple digital transformation activities to modernize internal business, knowledge management, filing, and organizational learning systems and practices. This internship will provide hands-on experience with a range of leading software platforms, with a focus on Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power BI) and adjacent systems. The Intern will help design, pilot, and refine knowledge management and filing solutions; support the corresponding training to improve adoption and digital literacy; and develop supporting resources. In addition, the Intern will advance organizational learning by supporting internal communities of practice, learning events, project-to-project exchange, and the capture of best practices and lessons learned across the organization. This dynamic internship can help start a successful career in development, building skillsets, expanding networks, and providing real-world experience in this challenging but rewarding work.

This internship is paid, and hours are flexible, between 24-40 per week. Duration is at least six months.

The internship will include but not be limited to the activities noted below:

* Support the implementation of business process, knowledge management, filing, and organizational learning pilot programs.

* Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to understand and document business and knowledge management needs for systems.

* Support the redesign, piloting, and refinement of organizational filing policies and support development of corresponding documentation and training.

* Research, test and pilot tools and practices to meet end-user technology needs.

* Support the development and documentation of filing, content, and knowledge management systems in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

* Design and develop user-centered interfaces to organize knowledge, communicate learning, and reinforce best practices.

* Draft change management communications reflecting updated process changes.

* Develop, update, and implement training content to reflect system changes and upgrades.

* Participate in team meetings and strategic workshops.

* Perform other relevant duties as identified by the Digital Strategy Team.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree required (master’s completed or in progress preferred) in a field related to international development, organizational development, knowledge management, information science, or Information Technology;

* At least 1 year of overseas work experience preferred;

* Awareness of Microsoft 365 platforms including but not limited to SharePoint, Teams, and Power Automate;

* Demonstrated technical writing skills and capacity to synthesize high volumes of information into key messages and to various audiences;

*Demonstrated experience with designing, leading, or supporting training and corresponding guidance documents;

* Interest in problem solving;

* Clear and effective communications skills, especially across cultures and hierarchies absolutely required;

* Consistently strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through required;

* Strong interpersonal skills, energy, and an enthusiastic collaborator;

* Ability to remain poised and focused in a fast-paced environment; and

* Current U.S. work authorization is required at the time of application.
