Job Description:We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Pembroke, Ontario. This role primarily involves performing various financial tasks within a diverse team setting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and performing HR-related tasks.Responsibilities:-Efficient and accurate processing of customer billing and invoices-Reconciliation of accounts and invoices-Perform journal entries, accruals, and prepaid tasks-Maintain precise records for customer credit applications-Assist in HR tasks including onboarding, scheduling, and recruitment activities-Manage the tracking and data entry of benefits and pension information-Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)-Apply knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in daily tasks-Utilize Sage 300, if familiar, for various tasks-Ensure all customer inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.Requirements:Qualifications:-Minimum of two years of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar position-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications-Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP-Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)-Proven skills in account reconciliation and invoice processing-Experience in billing procedures and data entry tasks-Excellent communication and organizational skills-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred-Must have legal authorization to work in the location of employmentIf this position interests you, please apply online today or call us at 613-236-4253!Job Reference Number: 0013104917
