Associate Professor in Accounting

About the roleIn this teaching focussed role, you will provide inspiration and leadership to the delivery and development of the School’s undergraduate and taught postgraduate provision in accounting, working in line with the School’s Strategy. The successful applicant will provide academic and professional leadership within the School and across their own specialism, ensuring excellence in teaching and curriculum design on an international level.You will develop and deliver high quality lectures and seminars on a range of accounting areas as well as undertaking scholarship or pedagogical research to underpin innovation in accounting teaching and to enhance the student experience is also strongly encouraged.Most importantly, you will play an active role in ensuring that our students receive an accounting education that allows them to make the very best of their potential.About youYou will have an established reputation for innovative learning and teaching, gained in either the university sector or through the training of professional accountants. You will be able to show evidence of successful administration, preferably in a teaching role.
