The successful candidate will strengthen our research expertise and culture within the triple helix strategy of the University, which seeks to achieve cross-fertilisation between research, education and enterprise activity. The University of Southampton is in the top 1% of world universities and is one of the UK’s top 15 research-intensive universities.About the roleWe seek candidates with an internationally recognised academic or industrial profile in analytical chemistry, with a specific focus on chromatography and mass spectrometry. The holder of this role will be expected to provide leadership in analytical chemistry research, education and enterprise activities within the School. Our chromatography and mass spectrometry facility has a wide range of techniques available, many of which are unique, supporting research in the School, wider university, nationally and internationally.
