We are a leading UK environmental charity dedicated to protecting our ocean – defending crucial habitats, regenerating vital ecosystems and inspiring volunteers. We are currently looking for a Beachwatch Assistant to join us on a part-time basis, working 21 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday) for a six month fixed-term contract, from mid-April to mid-October.
This is a terrific opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a background in delivering face-to-face engagement days to step into a fantastic role with our mission-led organisation.

As a Beachwatch Assistant, you’ll inspire companies, communities and volunteers to take action for cleaner, healthier coastlines.
From planning and leading team beach cleans for corporate groups to chatting with curious members of the public, you’ll drive awareness, learning and ongoing engagement across a variety of sectors and audiences.
You will also deliver a variety of public-facing events to support our ongoing monitoring programme, as well as helping with media beach clean events and working with our public affairs team to help run cleans.
