Cornwall Wildlife Trust
The Beaver Project Officer role is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the wild release licence, ensuring successful implementation over its 10-year term and helping to facilitate positive coexistence between beavers and people.
Key areas of work will include building and maintaining relationships with landowners, partners and other relevant stakeholders; delivering public engagement and educational events; coordinating volunteers; providing practical beaver management advice and support; and monitoring beaver populations.
In the role, you’ll join the Conservation team working closely with our Conservation Officer. The post requires exceptional project management and organisational skills. The ability to communicate and engage effectively with a wide range of partners and land managers is also essential.
