Call Center Operator Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune

  • Hours for this position will be: Monday thru Friday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Saturday thru Sunday: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. 24hrs weekly guaranteed with potential for more hours depending on availability.****

What you will do 

Responsible for monitoring several naval hospital systems at Camp Lejeune, including fire alarm, security, public address/sound/radio, nurse call /code blue, infant protection and telephone answering systems in a 24/7 call center environment. 

Location: Camp LeJeune, NC (military experience not required) 

Shift: Monday thru Friday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Saturday thru Sunday: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. 24hrs weekly guaranteed with potential for more hours depending on availability.

  • This is a Bargaining Union position.

How you will do it 

Duties include answering multiple phone lines and documenting key information, verifying pass codes, coordinating after hour’s responses, troubleshooting to assist clients with re-setting, bypassing, or other issues with alarm systems, documentation of events occurring during alarm activation, and data entry in multiple databases. 

What we look for 

Required

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with multi-line telephones preferred.
  • Previous alarm monitoring or customer service experience required.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must have excellent customer relations skills.
  • Must be proficient with computers and typing.
  • Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Preferred 

  • Three or more years of experience working in a call center environment.
  • Experience working in a monitoring call center environment
