We are looking to add a Call Center Patient Access Representative II at the Baptist Cardiac Access Center, located near Phillips Highway and Baymeadows in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity. The hours for this position are typically between 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Depending on the needs of the office, hours may vary on occasion.
As the Call Center Patient Access Representative II, you will work in a Call Center environment for the Cardiology department, which consists of providing business services for patients and the healthcare system. Duties include utilizing multiple systems and interfaces to register Cardiology patients accurately and efficiently, cross-training in order to work in multiple patient access areas, maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors, and contributing to PAS Goals as defined annually. The Call Center Patient Access Representative II will be responsible for:
- Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations
- Maintaning a strong professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinilal team members
- Articulating compliance documentation
- Ensuring completion of required patient consent forms
- Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Managing a large amount of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Managing Central Scheduling Voicemail
- Scheduling patient appointments with BHS cardiologists
- Following call scripts for handling different scenarios
- Identifying customer needs and providing solutions
- Managing Scheduling OnBase queue and indexing documentation in EPIC
- Data Entry Tasks
- Routing calls appropriately
- Providing Excellent Customer Service
