Campsite Warden

£25,583 to £26,403 per annum (pro rata)
As a Campsite Warden at North Lees Campsite, Hathersage, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of our popular campsite and nearby holiday cottage and deal with customer enquiries and bookings.
You will take pride in your work, and, with the support of the Property Manager and Campsite Manager, you will ensure the site is presented in the best possible condition to welcome visitors and promote the National Park Authority.

This is an annualised-hours post of 891 hours per annum, with more hours worked during busier periods of the year. The exact distribution of hours may vary due to school holidays and operational requirements, but as a rough guide:
Working pattern includes Fridays (of which a minimum of 1 shift per month will be evening shifts), evenings, and weekends (2 weekend shifts per month, 1 of which will be a Saturday).
North Lees Campsite is located in the sheltered Hope Valley, 1.5 miles north of Hathersage. It is within short walking distance of numerous world-class climbing, bouldering, cycling, and walking routes. North Lees Campsite is the ideal base for those seeking quiet outdoor recreation in stunning surroundings and for visitors wishing to explore the Peak District National Park. The nearby woodlands, farmland, and moorland are managed for conservation and form part of our Stanage-North Lees estate.
