You’ll spar with the CEO on growth bets, funding strategies, and risk management. Your mission isn’t control – it’s clarity, enablement, and action.
You’ll transform Finance and Legal into scalable, strategic business partners, prepping Loop for incoming VC investments and our next explosive growth phase.
You’ll coach leaders, reshape processes, and implement systems that simplify, scale, and support – constrain.

Responsibilities & Objectives (First 12 Months)
- Deliver accurate rolling forecasts (12-week & 12-month horizons, refreshed regularly, ≤ 2% variance);
- Ensure global month-end close by Business Day 10;
- Drive Business-team NPS ≥ +40 (Marketing, Product, Exec);
- Increase Finance & Legal team engagement scores by 20%;
- Prepare Loop for next-stage VC funding, global expansion, and M&A activity;
- Develop operational excellence across Finance, Legal, Tax, and FP&A teams.
Requirements
Must-haves:
- Served as exec-team leader in a €100–500m scale-up, overseeing significant international growth in EU and US, and strategic pivots;
- Proven success in transforming teams, processes, and systems;
- Coaching-based leadership focused on talent development, engagement, and succession planning;
- Belgium-based (minimum 25% Antwerp, 10% Amsterdam presence required);
- Track record as a strategic enabler in a product/marketing-led business.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience managing Legal/Governance;
- Successfully led VC/PE funding rounds, IPOs, M&A, or extensive due diligence.
