Fel rhan o’r rôl hon, (pe dymunir) cewch gyfle i ddatblygu eich sgiliau a’ch profiad drwy
gofrestru ar gwrs addysg uwch sy’n berthnasol i gynllunio.
Y Rôl
Fel Cynorthwyydd Cynllunio/Ymchwil, byddwch yn gwneud gwaith ymchwil a dadansoddiad ystadegol i
gefnogi Cynllun Datblygu Lleol Eryri.
Gan weithio fel rhan o’r Tîm Gwasanaeth Cynllunio, byddwch yn gwneud gwaith cartograffig a
chymorth rheoli prosiect, yn ogystal â pharatoi, gweithredu a monitro’r Cynllun Datblygu Lleol.
Byddwch hefyd yn cynorthwyo’r Rheolwr Datblygu i wneud gwaith technegol, gan gynnwys cynorthwyo
gyda gwybodaeth ystadegol megis ffurflenni chwarterol Llywodraeth Cymru a phrosesu ymholiadau
chwiliad tir lleol.

26,000 people, the highest mountain in Wales and the largest natural lake in Wales.
We are now looking for a Planning / Research Assistant to join our Planning Policy Service on a
permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

As part of this role, (if you’d like) you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and
experience by enrolling in a higher education course that is relevant to planning.
The Role
As a Planning / Research Assistant, you will undertake research work and statistical analysis
to support the Eryri Local Development Plan.
Working as part of the Planning Service Team, you will undertake cartographic work and project
management support, as well as preparing, implementing and monitoring of the Local Development
Plan.
You will also assist Development Manager in undertaking technical work, including assisting
with statistical information such as the Welsh Government quarterly returns and processing
local land search enquiries.
About You
To be considered as a Planning / Research Assistant, you will need:
- The ability to communicate in both Welsh and English
- A degree (or equivalent) in planning, geography or a related subject
- The ability to undertake original research and data analysis
- Good written communication and presentation skills
- A full, valid driving licence
