Start Date: After Easter 2024
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term with Permanent Potential
Salary: £150 – £230 per day (Paid to Scale)
Location: Near Totton, SouthamptonSupply Desk is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for a Secondary School near Totton, Southampton. This full-time role starts after Easter 2025, with the school looking to make the position permanent for the right candidate.The Role:The successful candidate will:

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students’ academic development.

The School:

• A mixed 11-16 secondary school with around 1000 students.
• Rated “Good” by Ofsted, known for strong leadership and a supportive ethos.
• Easily accessible from Southampton and surrounding areas, with free on-site parking.

Requirements:✅ QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
✅ A degree in English or a related field.
✅ Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
✅ The ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
✅ Experience teaching English in a secondary setting is desirable but not essential.What’s on Offer?
