The Finance Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department of a charitable based organisation, based on the Wirral. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in transactional invoice processing.

• Processing of sales invoices and raising payments
• Processing purchase invoices and matching to purchase order numbers
• Record-keeping of financial administrative tasks
• Handle basic payroll tasks
• Monitor cash transactions and reconcile to the bank
• Cash, credit card and direct debit reconciliations
• Process utility bills

• An academic background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
