Finance Coordinator

The post sits within the Finance Operations Team within the Directorate of Finance.  The role will include a wide variety of tasks, but the principal duties will focus on supporting and maintaining the University’s statutory compliance activities and ensuring internal procedures are implemented successfully.

To apply for the post of Finance Coordinator, you should have a good standard of general education, excellent communication skills, excellent IT skills particularly Excel and other Microsoft packages, and be a motivated and enthusiastic individual.  Prior experience of working in a finance environment is essential.

Whilst the University is currently trialling a hybrid working from home scheme, the post will be located within the Directorate of Finance based at the Old Aberdeen campus and the successful candidate will be required to attend the office for a minimum of 2 days per week.  The number of office attendance days may increase at the end of the trial.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 4, £25,285 – £28,929 per annum  with placement according to qualifications and experience.
