What it’s like to work here

Morden Hall Park is a beautiful wildlife haven in south London. It has a historic rose garden and
a range of habitats – woodland, meadows, and wetlands. We are also lucky to have a rare chalk
stream meandering through the site. We have a footfall of over one million visitors a year.
It’s just 500 meters from the Northern Line, yet it feels as if you are in the middle of the
countryside.

As an urban portfolio, Morden Hall Park and the smaller properties are perfectly situated to
deliver the National Trust’s Everyone Welcome strategic priority. There is a great culture of
helpfulness and support across the whole property, which includes our onsite Garden Centre, the
largest retail outlet within NT.

As a member of the Portfolio Leadership Team, you’ll line manage three staff and contribute to
the general smooth running of the portfolio. You will report directly to the General Manager
and take your turn as duty manager.

Weekend working will be required on a regular basis, including Bank Holidays. Regular travel to
other properties within London will be required.
