As the Head of Policy & Research, you will lead policy initiatives and research projects on social mobility and educational inequality. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex data into actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive positive outcomes.

  • Develop and oversee policy strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Lead research projects, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Engage with industry leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders to advocate for initiatives.
  • Monitor regulatory changes within the financial services sector and assess their impact on organisational objectives.
  • Manage a team of researchers and policy analysts to achieve project milestones.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance the scope and impact of research outputs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of trends and developments within the financial services industry.

  • A strong academic background in economics, public policy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in policy development and conducting research projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills (R/SPSS/STATA/Python) with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry and its regulatory framework.
  • Leadership experience, including managing teams and external collaborations.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and strategic thinking.

  • Competitive salary in the range of £56,000 – £64,000 per annum.
  • London Based – 2 days in office
