Share your passion with us!The role we are offering you:By joining our operations research team, you will have the opportunity to implement optimization engines within the context of flight operations.Are you ready to:Interpret business requirements and convert them into parameters understandable by a mathematical engine.Walk through airline processes and how an optimization engine will fit into their overall picture.Set up reports to explain cause and effect to customers in the context of the parameter changes requested.Write Python scripts to help collate data and draw insights on optimization.Explain the output of optimization engines in a way that highlights cause and effect.Our ideal candidate has:Bachelor’s (with Honours) or higher in Operations Research, Computer Science, or other related field.Understanding of airline processes specific to either Crew Planning or Disruption Management.Previous experience with optimization engines in an airline context.Python scripting ability.In addition, the following experience is nice to have:Master’s / PhD in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a similar fieldKnowledge of large-scale integer programming software such as Gurobi or CPLEX (or equivalent)CAE offers:an environment where your initiatives will be recognized and valued.the opportunity to travel internationally.the opportunity to work on a variety of projects on a multidisciplinary team.the opportunity to represent the organization at external conventions and conferences.the possibility to work from home occasionally.flexible schedules.attractive employee benefits.About CAEAt CAE, we equip people in critical roles with the expertise and solutions to create a safer world.
